What’s the difference between a Rendezvous and a Rally?
Simple! A Rendezvous has no fixed Start Date. This is for Weather and other Safety Considerations, it also allows flexibility.
Participants can choose to take part in the Fleet Sailing, there is one for each passage, or they can choose to sail on their own timing but still take advantage of all the Rendezvous Benefits. The fleet sailing timing is Weather Dependant!

Have you ever arrived at a new country only to find you’ve not provided the right paperwork or had the Bio-security officer take all your goods! On a C&OC Rendezvous we’ll make sure you’re properly briefed on all aspects of clearance, supply you with the right paperwork and forward same to the relevant authorities on your behalf to ensure a timely clearance.
In many cases it will be your first time in each destination. On a C&OC Rendezvous you’ll be fully briefed on Cruising in Each Destination, their customs and have access to our extensive Local Knowledge Base, we’ve been actively cruising the South Pacific for 30 Years!
We’ve written the Cruising Guides. On a C&OC Rendezvous you’ll get discounted access to all our Sail South Pacific Cruising and Planning guides.

2023 – Kia Ora Rendezvous
The passage down to New Zealand can be daunting for many Cruisers. This Rendezvous removes this concern! Our Weather Service Ocean Tactics will assist with the Departure Planning as part of the Rendezvous.
All other benefits as above with departures from the beginning of October. There will be a fleet sailing on the first weather window after the 10th of October.
